Emmanuel John Institute of Science and Technology Inc. organized the first job fair exclusively for DSWD-SLP malabon . In preparation for the said event, EJIST invited several tie-up companies to prepare the students by giving career talk and share some job hunting tips last October 7, 2015.
The First EJIST, DSWD Job Fair was held last October 9, 2015 at Malabon Amphi theater, Malabon City. The event was led by the City Mayor Len-len Oreta, DSWD Officials from MANAVA office, PESO of Malabon and EJIST officials.
More than 10 companies from various industries received applications from hundreds of graduating students of DSWD SLP. In fact, 70% of the students who were screened on-site were hired on the spots by some of the companies.

THE Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, or Republic Act 10533, established the K to 12 program. With this new program, the students will go through Kindergarten and 12 years of basic education—six years of primary education, four years of Junior High School and two years of Senior High School.
The OWWA (EDSP) is a scholarship program of OWWA for qualified dependents of member-OFWs consisting of Php10,000-60,000.00 worth of scholarship per school year, leading to any Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)-accredited institution or in privately-owned tertiary or vocational institutions.
